About Me

I’m a Maryland native who has coined myself as the Olivia Pope of Special education

Fairgreen is a love letter to my grandparents… in fact it’s the street I grew up on, the street my grandparents lived on for more than 50 years, the street I met my lifelong best friend. Fairgreen saved me, and I started it to save others.

At 28, I was one of the youngest principals in Washington, DC. A position I’ve since vowed to never do again (IYKYK haha) and while my position has changed over the years, my commitment to those doing the work hasn’t.

IN HINDSIGHT

As an only child and grandchild (for 16 years, thanks Aunt Kendra) when asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I would always answer, “Tell people what to do”

I should have known then, that the path to entreprenuership was likely!
